Eligible Senior Citizens Encouraged to Apply for Senior Citizen Hardship Sales Tax Rebate in Alaska
Eligible senior citizens in Alaska were encouraged to apply for the 2023 tax rebate, Senior Citizen Hardship Sales Tax Rebate, which will provide relief to some residents.
As part of the 2023 tax rebates eligibility requirements, Alaska senior citizens aged 65 and above who have a valid card for CBJ Senior Sales Tax Exemption and lower gross income of the poverty guidelines will be eligible for the tax rebates.
Alaska senior citizens who are eligible for the tax rebates must submit their application form to the local city hall until June 30 or contact the tax office for more information about the tax rebates.

Eligible Senior Citizens Will Expect Another Property Tax Relief in Alaska
Aside from the Senior Citizen Hardship Sales Tax Rebate, eligible senior citizens aged 65 who live on a property in Alaska were also encouraged to apply for the Real Property Tax Exemption, Value Walk reported.
Eligible senior citizens should fill out the application form and submit the form to the assessor’s office to be exempted from up to $150,000 of assessed value.
