Activists Urge Biden to Enact Federal Reparations Commission to Address Harms on Blacks on Juneteenth

Following the nearing of Juneteenth, activists have been urging President Joe Biden to enact a federal reparations commission that will aim to address harms, including racial discrimination, against Black Americans from different parts of the country.

According to reports from TAG 24, activists wanted to have a federal reparations commission, just like how Japanese-Americans had their reparations after introducing HR 40 for African Americans.

The activists aim to have reparations that would address the issues of racial discrimination, the legal system, and other harms directed towards Blacks across the country, which may lead to lessening these harmful attacks.
