The investing firm Richard Bernstein Advisors predicts that due to an impending surge in corporate earnings across all market segments, investors may soon have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage in equities.
A note from the RBA on Tuesday stated, “Our view remains that the market isn’t landing,” pointing to concerns that a hard landing or impending recession may be imminent. “Adding to the airplane metaphor, we’re seeing earnings taking off,” it stated: “Corporate earnings are increasing and the whole economy appears to stay quite healthy.”
The RBA notes that although worldwide stocks entered a profit recession recently, earnings seem to have bottomed out. According to the company, profits will increase through the end of 2023 and into 2024.
