Back to School Tax Holiday returns to Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas this month!
The Sales Tax Holiday allows shoppers to buy items such as school supplies, art supplies, and clothing without a sales tax
The Tax Holiday in Arkansas runs from August 5 to Sunday, August 6. The Sales Tax Holiday was instated by Act 757 in 2011. The Tax Holiday allows the following:
- Clothing and footwear if the sales price of it is less than $100 per item
- Clothing accessories and equipment if the sales price is less than $50 per item
- School and Art supplies
- School instructional materials
Tax Holiday in Oklahoma will start from August to August 6
During Tax holidays, shoppers who buy clothes, footwear, and school supplies are exempted from sales tax if the items are below $100. Online, phone, mail, custom order, and actual purchases are eligible if:
Tax holiday takes place in Texas from August 11-13, 2023.
During the Tax Holiday, shoppers can order the item during the exemption period for immediate shipment, even if delivery is after the period ends.
