2023 Permanent Fund Dividend Worth $1,312 to be Sent to Eligible Residents as Part of Their Share of Alaska’s Natural Resource Wealth

A 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend worth $1,312 is expected to be sent to residents as their share of the natural resource wealth in Alaska, wherein the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend marked the 42nd time residents would receive the direct payments.

According to a report published in the Washington Examiner, the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend applications are already thousands higher than the number of applications reported from previous years, and the processing for the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend continues.

Following the nearing distribution of the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend, some eligible residents have reported that they have not yet been paid from the previous years, but the administration assured them to receive the payments on October 5 together with the distribution of the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend.

Eligible Residents Encouraged to Submit Application Following Nearing Distribution of 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend

To be eligible for the direct payments, residents should have been living in Alaska, not claiming any residency in other states and were never convicted of felony charges for the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend as long as they submitted the application from January 1 to March 31.

There were already over 600,000 applicants who had been confirmed to receive the direct payments under the 2023 Permanent Fund Dividend, Alaska Beacon reported.
