New Report Identifies Most Dangerous Cities in America Based on Latest Crime Data

NeighborhoodScout.com a website that helps people learn about crime in their neighborhoods has just put out a list of the 100 most dangerous cities in America. They looked at cities with more than 25,000 people and used the latest data from 2021 which came out in October 2022. They looked at how often violent crimes  like rape robbery and assault happen in each city per 1,000 people.

The list shows that there are dangerous cities all over the country in different sizes and regions. For example Detroit Michigan and Baltimore Maryland have been known for having a lot of crime for a long time. But there are also smaller cities in the South and Midwest that are becoming more dangerous.

This report can help people who make law police officers and regular people understand where more help is needed to stop crime and make neighborhoods safer. It shows that we need to keep working to understand why crime happens and how to stop it. And it shows that communities need to work together to make their neighborhood safe.
