Challenges in Culiacan
Culiacan, once peaceful, witnesses a spike in crime, reaching 84 incidents per 100,000 inhabitants. Cartel conflicts, notably after the arrest of El Chapo’s son, turned the city into a battleground, with a concerning homicide rate of 61 per 100,000 people, according to InSight Crime.
