When will Disney Plus air Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? initially featured on Ready Steady Cut.
When will Disney Plus begin airing Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? There are no spoilers in this article, which explains when the most recent MCU film will be available on the service.
Kang the Conqueror is featured in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which also ushers in the fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Ant-Man, Cassie, Hope, Hank, and Janet are all trying to leave the Quantum Realm, therefore the movie sets them against the Conqueror.
The movie’s critical reception has been extremely conflicted, and its Rotten Tomatoes rating of 48% is among the lowest for an MCU film. Yet, audiences are responding to the movie far better—at 84% right now. Although it has only recently hitting theatres, the movie will join the majority of the MCU when it becomes Disney+ at some point in the future.
Disney+ will eventually feature Quantumania because the studio fully owns the film.
The Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home are the only two MCU movies that haven’t made an appearance on the service. This is due to the fact that Sony owns the rights to Spider-Man: No Way Home and Universal holds the distribution rights to The Incredible Hulk.
This Quantum Realm experience will soon be available to viewers on Disney+.
Who Plays Cassie Lang in Quantumania’s Ant-Man and the Wasp?
When will Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania be on Disney Plus?
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania won’t be available on Disney+ for at least 45 days after its theatrical debut, according to Disney, which has not yet announced the exact date of its availability.
This is due to the roughly 45-day exclusivity period for movie theatres to screen films. The earliest the movie may be available for streaming is April 3, 2023, but this is doubtful. Disney films have never strictly adhered to the 45-day limit.

The success of Quantumania at the box office is the major aspect that will probably influence its move to Disney+. Disney would most likely extend the movie’s run in theatres if it has a strong opening weekend at the box office and some staying power. Before the movie has been shown in theatres for a few weeks, this cannot be assessed.
How Long Does It Take for New Marvel Movies to Come out On Disney Plus?
Marvel movies will take some time to arrive on Disney+, however, there is no specific timetable for when they will do so. With the exception of Black Widow and Spider-Man: No Way Home, we can determine how long it usually takes for a movie to be released on the platform by looking at the Phase 4 films:
- Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – released on September 3, 2021, and came out on Disney+ 70 days later
- Eternals – released on November 5, 2021, and came out on Disney+ 68 days later.
- Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness – released on May 5, 2022, and came out on Disney+ 48 days later.
- Thor: Love and Thunder – released on July 7, 2022, in cinemas and came out on Disney+ 63 days later
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – released on November 11, 2022, in cinemas and released on Disney+ 82 days later.
According to this, there are typically 66 days between a film’s theatrical premiere and its Disney+ launch. Quantumania would arrive on the platform about April 24 if the standard were to be followed, but it may arrive earlier or later. Fans may have to wait longer than they did for Wakanda Forever because MCU movies are trending up in how long it takes them to reach the service.
