Zachary Kapono Wilson (born August 3, 1999) is a quarterback for the National Football League’s New York Jets (NFL). He was a two-time bowl game MVP while at BYU, and the Jets selected him second overall in the NFL Draft in 2021.
A New Female Companion
Although quarterback Zach Wilson of the New York Jets struggled at times during his first season, he appears to be doing well off the field.
Wilson and his then-girlfriend, Abbey Gile, appeared to have split up in early January, according to reports. Fast forward two months, and the 22-year-old looks to have made significant progress.

The New York Post reported on it:
Wilson was pictured in a cream-colored bikini and dark sunglasses, apparently soaking up the sun with teammate Braxton Berrios and an unknown blonde,” according to New York Post. “While surrounded by other beachgoers, Wilson and his company reclined on lounge chairs.”

There was some hope that Wilson and Gile might reconnect, especially because Wilson was one of the first individuals to respond to Gile’s very controversial film, which went global. This, on the other hand, should put a stop to it.
Overall, Wilson’s love life appears to garner more attention than his play. It’s just one thing after another, with his mother’s penchant for drama on social media, followed by her spectacular ‘crack whore’ predicament, and now this.
Regardless of the off-field controversy, the Jets appear to be working hard to get Wilson some reliable wide receiver support. A blockbuster deal involving one of three elite wide receivers is currently on the team’s wish list.
The career of Zach Wilson
Wilson made his NFL debut against the Carolina Panthers, where he was up against his Jets predecessor Sam Darnold. He finished with 258 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a rushing 2-point conversion despite throwing an interception in the first half, but the Jets were defeated 14–19. Wilson threw four interceptions against the New England Patriots in the Jets’ home opener in Week 2, two of which came on his first two pass attempts. Following that, the Jets fell 6–25.
Wilson earned his first professional win in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans, following a 0–26 shutout defeat to the Denver Broncos in which he threw for 160 yards and two interceptions. Wilson threw one interception but also two touchdowns and 297 yards on 21 of 34 passing.

One of his touchdown passes was a 53-yard strike to wide receiver Corey Davis in the fourth quarter, which gave the Jets a 24–17 lead and led to a 27–24 overtime victory. Wilson threw his ninth interception against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, making him the fourth NFL quarterback to throw an interception in each of his first five starts, following DeShon Kizer, Zach Mettenberger, and Blake Bortles.
Wilson was struck by defender Matthew Judon in the second quarter of Week 7’s game against the Patriots, resulting in a knee injury. Mike White took his place in the 13–54 loss when he was pronounced out for the remainder of the game. Wilson had a sprained posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee as a result of the loss, and he missed four games as a result.
Wilson made his return in Week 12 and defeated the Houston Texans on the road for the first time. During the game, he also ran for his first touchdown. Wilson lost four of his last five games, with his lone victory coming against the Jacksonville Jaguars late in the season. In the five games, he did not throw an interception, which increased his turnover differential.
