Their Relationship
The couple also has twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, who are 9 months old. Zen, Cannon, and Alyssa Scott’s kid passed away in December 2021 from brain cancer.
In January of this year, Cannon revealed on his eponymous talk program that he had known about Tiesi’s pregnancy “for a time,” including before Zen’s death.
“So even with everything that happened, this question, “When is the proper time?” lingered in the back of my mind. So, how can I broadcast this? “said he did at the time. “Nobody, not even we at Zen’s own temple, saw his death coming… There was nothing predictable about any of the news.”
When Cannon continued, “It was important to me to give Alyssa space and time to grieve, and Bre was considerate enough to wait before making any public statements or posting on social media. She enjoys being in the spotlight, but she also values her privacy.”
To this, the father elaborated, “Honestly, I was at a loss for what to do; it was simply one of those things. To be honest, I was at a loss for words whenever I interacted with Zen.
Even today, after its release only the day before, it wasn’t supposed to be a topic of conversation. Like, we tried to hang on as long as possible, but it finally occurred. When I’m home with my loved ones, I feel safe talking about anything.”
For his second mixtape, Cannon dropped The Gospel of Ike Turn Up: My Side of the Story on November 16, 2016. In advance of the mixtape, on November 7, 2016, a music video for the tune “If I Was Your Man” was released.
