In the National Football League (NFL), Jeff Gladney (December 12, 1996 – May 30, 2022) was an American football cornerback. After a stellar collegiate career at Texas Christian University, the Minnesota Vikings selected Gladney in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Jurors in Dallas, Texas, acquitted Jeff Gladney of assaulting a lady in the spring of 2013.
It was last year when a Texas grand jury charged Gladney, 25, with felony domestic abuse. That led to the Minnesota Vikings’ decision to release him as the 31st overall choice in the 2019 NFL Draft. After being arrested for allegedly assaulting his fiancée just days earlier, Gladney handed himself into Dallas County police on April 5. Domestic violence charges led to Gladney’s indictment for the alleged assault.
She claims he demanded that she unlock her phone, snatched her hair and punched her, choked her, and shoved her face into the dashboard while driving down the highway, according to the victim. As a result of this, he allegedly struck her at a red light, according to the lawsuit.
To persuade her not to press charges, he allegedly purchased a Tiffany necklace after surrendering himself and then showed up at her residence in July to persuade her to remove text messages, as alleged in the lawsuit against him.
