NFL quarterback Derrick Deshaun Watson (born September 14, 1995) is an American football player for the Cleveland Browns (NFL). In 2016, he guided Clemson to a national title in college football. By virtue of their first-round draught pick, Houston Texans drafted Watson in 2017.
Career
Watson led the Texans to back-to-back division championships in 2018 and 2019 and topped the league in passing yards in 2020 after his first season was cut short by injury. His three seasons as Houston’s starting quarterback earned him three Pro Bowl selections. Also for the Texans, Deshaun set franchise records for the most passing touchdowns, most consecutive games with a touchdown pass, most passing yards, and first-ever games with three or more touchdown passes by a rookie quarterback (17 rushing, 5, passing, 19 this season, 301 yards, and first-ever games with three or more touchdown passes by a rookie).
