Anne Heche Girlfriend
Between 1997 and 2000, Ellen DeGeneres’ ex-girlfriend Anne Heche had a relationship with another lady. After their breakup, Heche (All Rise, The Brave) married cameraman Coleman “Coley” Laffoon, and subsequently collaborated with actor James Tupper till 2018 for a short period of time before moving on to new endeavors.
Heche just added “partner” to her Instagram bio, which definitely refers to Ami Goodheart, a superb 1920s-style dancer who is now a prominent costume designer (Legendary) and lives in the same L.A. building as Anne. At the Costume Designers Guild Awards in Santa Monica on March 9, Anne shook hands with Goodheart as she walked the red carpet, just like she did with Ellen at the Volcano premiere in 1997.
I tried to get Anne’s thoughts on the two of them, but she gave me a cryptic response. “) “Do you enjoy our 11:00 LIVE?” she inquired. “Huh?” I responded but received no response. There has been an ongoing “11:00 Live” Instagram discussion between Anne, who is the host, and Ami.)
“Liked” comment on Instagram from Ami, an out lesbian who once co-hosted a queer dancing class called Freak Flag, but didn’t expound on what they were saying. Singing and dancing in the bathroom is a favorite pastime for the pair, as they revealed in an 11:00 Live video. Costumes are put on, their cheeks are bruised, and they wear top hats while singing A Chorus Line.
We’ve known one other since the days of Ellen
When I interviewed her for the cover of Paper magazine and raved about her. Anne thanked me for the essay and even put Ellen on the phone at the moment. However, I then joined the media horde in an attempt to defame Anne, which prompted me to compose an open letter of regret in 2018. When I appeared as a guest on Ellen’s podcast last year, we put our differences behind us (and not just in Ellen’s mind, lol). Anne also explains on the podcast why she dislikes the term “bisexual” when referring to herself. Congrats are in due for the burgeoning Love/Heche partnership, regardless of the name.
