In a late-night incident on January 23, 2024, a teenager, Erik Lopez, was apprehended by Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies in east Laredo after allegedly discharging a firearm. The incident unfolded around 10:40 p.m. near the 200 block of Enlace Road prompting authorities to respond to a shots fired call.
