According to Brent Cosby, his mother called and was in a panic. She claimed that the gate to his office was open and that his truck was at work. She claimed that your father has left and is not returning. He would not have allowed the gate to his office to open, and his light was off.

In a report from ABC 11, Brent claimed that his father was precise and well known for adhering to rigid routines, thus these minor nuances were essential. He frequently made the same stops in Rutledge’s little town each day, and he always finished his day by locking the gate to his place of business. He ran a used automobile dealership in Rutledge, where he occasionally took customers for test drives.

Many specifics from that June night are still clearly in Brent Cosby’s memory. When he forced that door open and discovered his father’s cold, rigid body, he claimed it was around 7:30. Brent remembers the significant quantity of blood, dialing 911, and giving CPR. He also recalls what the responding medical staff said.

Late that June 2016 night, forensics teams and even the district attorney eventually arrived. Despite their best efforts, Brent thinks it was too late because the murder scene had already been altered. Cosby family have not received any communication from authorities

Seven years have passed since the 70-plus-year-old man was killed in that office, and over that time, rumors have circulated in the small community of less than 500 residents. Many rumors, but no solid information. Cosby Body Shop is operated by his son Brent. In his honor, there is a wreath on the door and a special light.

The Cosby family believes that they have not received any communication from authorities regarding the ongoing inquiry and have been neglected. The mayor of Rutledge is one figurehead who has supported the family. A close friend of Earl Cosby, Steve Phillips, resided nearby.

Brent Cosby works as a therapist, helping his clients deal with various traumas. For a while, he also worked alone. His counseling sessions frequently center on what he witnessed that evening and coming to terms with the possibility that he might never learn who killed his father.

But that does not imply that they will give up looking. Earl Cosby’s office door still has a wreath on it, and the light is still on. Some years ago, cancer claimed the life of Brent’s brother. After he passed away, his father kept the light on, claiming he would “keep it on until.” On June 13, 2016, when his mother noticed the light was out, she realized something awful had happened. Earl, they both agreed, would never turn down that light, reports from Newsbreak.

It’s back on now, and according to Brent Cosby, they’ll keep it on “until” they learn more about his father’s case.
