A police officer and his wife were found shot to death in their North Carolina home after the officer failed to show up for work Friday night.

After a police officer didn’t show up for work Friday night, one of his workmates search for him in their house, and authorities found him and his wife shot to death in their North Carolina home. Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden, a state agent said that they are already investigating the deaths which are charged s a double homicide.
She said after several days of leave Officer Domingo Tavarez-Rodriguez is supposed to come back to work on Friday night. When he didn’t show up his supervisor keeps calling him and no one answers to they immediately rush to his house and found 2 dead bodies of him and his wife.
Chief said that Tavarez-Rodriguez and his wife, Yenitza Arroyo Torres were shot and there were broken glasses in their house.

She added that Domingo Tavarez-Rodriguez is a retired military and has been in Fayetteville officer for almost two years now. Now, since Tavarez-Rodriguez is one of the police officers and he is also active and dedicated to his work for the safety of our country, the State Bureau of Investigation will be the one to investigate the case. Officers and the wife’s family, friends, and colleagues were very saddened about the news and they were hoping that justice will be served to them.
