Ohio Man Plotted to Harm 3,000 Women by Incel Movement, Convicted of Hate Crime

Tres Genco was a young man from Ohio who was really into something called the incel movement. This is a group of guys online who do not like women and say mean things about them. Genco wanted to be famous so he came up with a plan to hurt a lot of women at Ohio State University. He wanted to hurt 3,000 women and be remembered forever. His plan was really bad and showed how much he hated women.

Genco started to like another guy named Elliot Rodger who did a bad thing in 2014. Genco also got guns and learned how to use them. But then his mom found out about his plan and called the police. He got arrested and charged with a hate crime. This was a big deal because it was the first time someone from the incel movement got in trouble for something like this.

Genco did not get to do what he wanted but his story made people realize that the incel movement is dangerous. His punishment would show others that hurting women is not okay. People hoped that the punishment would bring justice for the women and send a message to others who might want to hurt women too.
