But despite their best efforts, Hamas set their house on fire, making the family choose between burning or taking the risk of getting shot.
Things got even scarier when one of the attackers took Sharon away from her husband. She was really scared and thought her husband, David, was gone. But then, something important happened on a tractor that saved her. Her husband recognized her, shouted for her, and they were brought back together.
The family went through more tough times as three members were kept apart for 10 days. They had to endure bombings and broken windows until they were finally taken to a hospital.
