A high-speed police chase involving a stolen 2021 Dodge Charger came to a dramatic end in Eden Prairie as the suspect, a 23-year-old man, was apprehended near Home Depot after crashing into multiple vehicles. The Eden Prairie Police Department successfully arrested the suspect, who had eluded law enforcement agencies across the Twin Cities metro, following a dangerous pursuit along Highway 212.

Intense Highway Pursuit and Crash

The dramatic police chase unfolded as traffic cameras captured the stolen Dodge Charger racing down Highway 212, ultimately leading to a collision on the exit ramp at Prairie Center Drive in Eden Prairie. The guacamole-green vehicle attempted to navigate through traffic, resulting in a high-impact crash and drawing the pursuit to a close.

In the aftermath of the collision, the suspect continued driving the stolen vehicle north on Prairie Center Drive, making his way toward Valley View Road.

The pursuit ended in a parking lot adjacent to Home Depot, where the car, driven by the lone occupant, came to a stop after driving down an embankment. The Eden Prairie Police swiftly apprehended the uninjured suspect without incident.

Injuries and Stolen Vehicle Details

Amidst the high-speed pursuit, the collision on the exit ramp at Prairie Center Drive resulted in injuries to a passenger in one of the involved vehicles. Suffering minor injuries, the individual was promptly transported to a hospital for medical evaluation.

The stolen Dodge Charger, reported missing from West St. Paul, played a central role in a multi-agency pursuit across the Twin Cities, involving law enforcement from Hennepin County Sheriff’s deputies and police in Crystal, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, New Hope, and Plymouth.
