The incident happened on Saturday afternoon at a house on Hunter Drive in Litchfield. The suspect had agreed to a transaction and then taken a laptop by force. Following the heinous heist, a swift escape in a BMW with New York license plates was made. Authorities now disclose that there was a comparable incident in Waterbury, where the guy apparently took off with a second laptop.
Litchfield Laptop Theft
The suspect took advantage of a Facebook Marketplace transaction to target a homeowner on Hunter Drive. Even though they had an agreement, things got out of hand when the person grabbed a brand-new laptop from the victim, shocking her.
The suspect’s quick getaway from the scene in a BMW with New York license plates following the theft complicated the investigation even more. Anyone with information is being urged by the authorities to come forward and help identify the offender.
