Austin Police Department Partnership With Texas Department Holds Major Operation Of Deadly Drugs And Weapon Haul Going To Mexico

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott leads the invasion to hold the departure of deadly drugs and multiple firearms headed for Mexico. He Allows the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Austin Police to partner together for this major operation.

This partnership was announced last month and they receive a lot of protest but the Gov didn’t listen and proceeds to the operation, some of the council members and community members drew polarizing reaction after the announcement. Some of the Austin residents commended the partnership because they said it will not be successful and will used a lot of money and they are already in crisis.

According to Gov. Greg Abbott he discover this illegals after the DPS Special Agents assigned to the Austin Violent Crimes Task Force (AVCTF) keeps on investigating a drug deal and made a felony arrest.

An investigation led to DPS SWAT unit Department executing a search warrant. The agents holds more than alf-a-million lethal doses of fentanyl that will kill roughly half of the Austinites and some illegal weapons this is said to be headed to the city of Mexico. Two people were arrested into federal custody after the big operation. The partnership of Austin police and Texas DPS helps a lot to save many people lives, Gov. Abbot said.
