An Indiana Man was charged last Friday with two counts of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness in a weekend shooting that left one person killed and 17 others injured in Indiana City.
John L. Vance Jr., a 36-year-old Indiana man, was also charged with possession of a firearm by a serious violent crime
Prosecutor Eric Hoffman said the charges against the Indiana man do not specifically refer to the death of 30-year-old Joseph E. Bonner III.
The shooting involving an Indiana man last Sunday at a block party in Indiana city attended by hundreds of partygoers as police called the venue owner to shut down the gathering. Bonner was among those attending the event.
