WWE Co-Founder Vince McMahon Faces Sexual Assault Claim
Janel Grant, a former WWE employee, sued McMahon and former talent relations chief John Laurinaitis for Sexual Assault Claim, trafficking, and emotional abuse.
Grant said that McMahon forced her into a sexual relationship, shared obscene images and videos of her with male colleagues, and made more sadistic sexual demands involving Laurinaitis and others.
McMahon refuted the charges, saying the case was full of lies and fabricated events. He pledged to actively defend himself but resigned from his executive chairmanship and TKO board of directors out of respect for the WWE Universe, TKO business, and stakeholders. McMahon pledged to clear his name while thanking staff and partners who helped WWE become a global giant.

McMahon has led WWE to great success. McMahon has been scrutinized before. He resigned as WWE CEO in 2022 after being accused of sexual assault claim having an affair with an employee and paying her $3 million to keep it a secret. Stephanie McMahon, his daughter, became temporary CEO as the probe continued, finding more allegations of wrongdoing and large payments to WWE women to conceal affairs and misdeeds.
