The Perpetrator Who Is Responsible For Shooting Several People At A Building That Left One Dead, Was In Police Custody. The Perpetrator Was Identified As Deion Patterson, 24 Years Old And An Ex-Member Of Coastguard.
Shooting in a Medical Building in Atlanta
Deion Patterson, 24 years old was in Police custody after shooting several people on the 11th floor of a medical building West Peachtree Street, there were 5 victims wherein 4 were rushed to the hospital and the other 1 proclaimed dead on the spot.
Atlanta Police Department said that the shooting occurred at noon while the victims were waiting in the 11th floor lobby of the facility. Victims were all women including a dead 39 year old, the other were ages 25, 39, 56 and 71.

There was no motive of the shooting. The suspect commandeered a vehicle while dissipating the scene, but later recovered during a manhunt operation. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and the Police department urged everyone to secure their place just to be safe.
Patterson was a former member of the coastguard; he entered the service way back June 2018 before being discharge in January 2023.\
