Authorities claim that a Louisiana guy killed a 14-year-old girl in the back of the head when she along with other kids were playing hide-and-seek on his land. He is now being charged with a crime.
According to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, David V. Doyle, 58, was detained and imprisoned in the Calcasieu Correctional Center after being accused of severe battery, 4 charges of serious assault with a handgun, and unauthorized firing of a gun.
According to authorities, the incident happened early on Sunday in Starks, a small town in southwest Louisiana close to the Texas border line.
According to the sheriff’s workplace, the girl was taken to a doctor to be hospitalized for minor wounds.
According to the press release, when deputies arrived at the Starks residence where they were called to investigate a shooting, they found a 14-year-old girl struggling with a bullet injury to the back of the head.
When detectives received at the site later, they discovered that many kids had been playing hide-and-seek nearby and had been hiding on a neighbor’s land.
