Nicholas Donovan, a 27-year-old man arrested by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for lewdness and kidnapping. Authorities believe there may be more victims. Donovan was arrested on Tuesday after police got a tip of a suspicious man approaching youngsters near John W. Bonner Elementary School.
Details of the Incident
Donovan is accused of aggressively grabbing and touching a youngster on the 700 block of Crestdale Lane in Summerlin, near John W. Bonner Elementary School. He may have sought help from other minors to lure them, police say.
The 27-year-old man arrested was apprehended by police about 9 a.m. after Metropolitan Police Department dispatch received a report of a suspicious male approaching juveniles. Officers responded to the scene and quickly took Donovan into custody.
Donovan was placed in the Clark County Detention Center on felony counts of lewdness with a child under 14, coercion with force, and kidnapping, according to the police news release.
