James Yeager spent his life as a police officer and military contractor instructing others on how to use firearms to fight back against tyranny. He has instructed students of many different backgrounds, including Hungarians, Arabs, South Africans, and others.

Yeager is also associated with Tactical Response, a company founded in 1996 with the express purpose of providing lawful gun owners with the best firearms and tactical training money can buy.

Yeager’s recent surge to fame can be attributed to his desire to visit Ukraine and provide training to the locals there. Many people have decided to visit Ukraine in response to Russia’s escalating invasion to demonstrate their solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

James Yeager is a well-known expert in the field of self-defense and has spent most of his professional life in the state of Tennessee teaching others how to use firearms and other defensive techniques.

Beginning in the early 2000s and continuing through about the middle of 2004, he worked in a number of different capacities inside the law enforcement departments of at least two different Tennessee communities. After that, he spent close to a year in Iraq as a security contractor and media liaison, liaising between Iraqi police and the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army.

He has been known to make a show of his tactical security knowledge and trademark career, which has been plagued by personality clashes, professional setbacks, and even legal issues. He has long held the position of a chief executive officer at Tactical Response.

In his reply, he makes use of a vehicle metaphor. To the best of my ability, I try to reduce the dangers of driving a car without eliminating them altogether. My car has no known safety issues and is equipped with seatbelts, anti-lock brakes, and airbags. I would love to have one of those high-tech electronic stability control systems in my next car if I could afford it. In
