James Yeager spent his life as a police officer and military contractor instructing others on how to use firearms to fight back against tyranny. He has instructed students of many different backgrounds, including Hungarians, Arabs, South Africans, and others.
Yeager is also associated with Tactical Response, a company founded in 1996 with the express purpose of providing lawful gun owners with the best firearms and tactical training money can buy.
Yeager’s recent surge to fame can be attributed to his desire to visit Ukraine and provide training to the locals there. Many people have decided to visit Ukraine in response to Russia’s escalating invasion to demonstrate their solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
Career
James Yeager is a well-known expert in the field of self-defense and has spent most of his professional life in the state of Tennessee teaching others how to use firearms and other defensive techniques.
Beginning in the early 2000s and continuing through about the middle of 2004, he worked in a number of different capacities inside the law enforcement departments of at least two different Tennessee communities. After that, he spent close to a year in Iraq as a security contractor and media liaison, liaising between Iraqi police and the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army.
His first foray into the mediasphere was as a contributor to the documentary National Geographic Explorer: Iraq’s Guns for Hire (2007), and he has since appeared in the documentaries One Man Army: Brothers in Arms and The War Within (2011).
There’s no denying that his social media fame has helped spread his name and image further. There are a few fictitious films in which he has made cameo cameos as a non-speaking character.
He has been known to make a show of his tactical security knowledge and trademark career, which has been plagued by personality clashes, professional setbacks, and even legal issues. He has long held the position of a chief executive officer at Tactical Response.

With His Terminal Illness and Als, Is James Yeager Still Planning to Visit Ukraine?
The late James Yeager has now revealed that he has a terminal disease. According to Wikipedia, a person with a terminal illness has one that cannot be treated and will ultimately lead to death.
If a patient has a terminal illness, a doctor will likely give them a prognosis in terms of how many more days, months, or years they have to live. Yeager plans to travel to Ukraine to observe locals after receiving a similar diagnosis.
There is now no cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a degenerative disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, leading to a terrifying loss of motor control in the affected individuals. Also, an autopsy confirmed his illness.
Because of its association with the famous baseball player who died from it, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is commonly referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s disease.”
Where Has James Yeager Been, and What Is He Doing?
The fact that James Yeager has ALS is common knowledge (ALS). Updates on Yeager’s health were provided in a recent interview with Warrior Poet Society, in which the author stated, “I’m currently under the observation of three neurologists.”
Yeager mentioned in that same conversation that his father had died from Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS). On top of that, we knew he shared signs with his late father. Yeager’s certainty that he had ALS can be attributed to this objective.

James Yeager Responds to The Contentious Training Video
As long as they do it in a safe and private location, I have no problem with people training in any way they see fit. Still, I feel like Mr. Yeager missed some opportunities to make stronger points in his video.
Yeager claims that many gun owners are uncomfortable with having even an inch of space between themselves and their muzzle. The video did show someone standing next to the targets, though, rather than just in front of the muzzle, which is true and includes me.
In his reply, he makes use of a vehicle metaphor. To the best of my ability, I try to reduce the dangers of driving a car without eliminating them altogether. My car has no known safety issues and is equipped with seatbelts, anti-lock brakes, and airbags. I would love to have one of those high-tech electronic stability control systems in my next car if I could afford it. In
