Teigen is an American model and television personality who was born on November 30th, 1985 in New York City, New York, United States. When she debuted as a professional model in 2010, she was a part of Sports Illustrated’s 50th-anniversary cover shoot with Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge. Prior to joining FABLife, she was a regular panelist on the syndicated daytime talk show (2015–2016). Lip Sync Battle (2015–2019) with LL Cool J and Bring the Funny (2016–2019) were two of her most notable roles in the entertainment world (2019). Teigen has also written two cookbooks, both of which have been published.

Controversy

The repercussions of the Chrissy Teigen–Courtney Stodden bullying scandal continue to reverberate around the world. It all started with the original charges, and now Teigen is said to have decided to step down from a television position.

Chrissy Teigen quit Twitter because of the “negativity” she saw online. When she announced her Twitter account was being disabled on March 24, the model and cookbook author explained that she couldn’t “shut out the hate” anymore.

“Hey. For more than a decade, you’ve been my universe. I owe a lot to this world we’ve built here. Teigen began that day’s Twitter thread by saying, “I honestly consider so many of you to be my actual friends. ” Nevertheless, it’s time for me to bid farewell. At some point, this will no longer benefit me in the way that it once did. It is time to end this relationship.

Chrissy Teigen was accused of bullying by Courtney Stodden in a recent interview

Courtney Stodden instantly slammed Teigen’s statement, claiming the model had been abusing her on Twitter for years. “I loathe you” and “go. to sleep. forever” are among the supposed tweets that TMZ has released.

As recently as 2011, Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison made headlines when they wed at the tender age of 16 and Hutchison was 51. In an interview with the Daily Beast, Stodden said that the media and celebrities harassed and bullied him as a result of the uproar.

A couple of years after divorcing Hutchison in 2018, Stodden claimed in May 2021 that Hutchison secretly DMed her and told her to kill herself. “Things like, ‘I can’t wait until you die.’”

Chrissy Teigen has expressed regret for her previous actions

There are not many people who have the good fortune of being held accountable in public for all of their past idiocy. “I’m humiliated and saddened by who I used to be.” In a lengthy Twitter conversation from May 12, she said, “I was an insecure, attention-seeking troll…” The shame and humiliation I feel now pales in comparison to what I caused Courtney to experience. It’s practically unbearable to let you down after all I’ve done to make you happy and beloved. I’m sure I’ll make more mistakes in the future, but I’m going to try my hardest.

Teigen wrote, “I have attempted to connect with Courtney personally, but because I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I am very sorry.” Courtney, I am very sorry. I hope you’ll be able to move on with your life now that you know how sorry I am. Also, I want to express my deepest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you. I’ll never stop striving to be better than I was 10 years ago, a year ago, or even six months ago.”

“I accept her apologies and offer my forgiveness to her. Stodden stated on Instagram on May 12: “But the fact remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. Actually, she blocked me on Twitter. “A part of me wants to believe this is a serious apology, but it comes off as a public attempt to salvage her connections with Target and other corporations who are realizing her ‘weakness’ is a broken record.”
