Maximo Altez, The Peruvian Lawyer Of Joran Van Der Sloot Said That Sloot Cannot Be Punished For Natalee Holloway’s Body Was Never Found. Holloway Became Missing When She Went On A Trip To Aruba.
Beth Holloway: Justice will Finally be Served.
Natalee Holloway, student of Mountain Brook High School of Alabama went missing in May 2005 after going on a Senior Class trip to Aruba. Joran Van Der Sloot is the primary suspect of Holloway’s disappearance but Sloot’s lawyers contest that he cannot be punished because the body was never found.
The Dutch National was charged with wired fraud after calling Holloway’s mother, Beth Holloway, in the whereabouts of her body. Peruvian Government decided that he will face charges, be tried and served his sentence in the US for violating the country’s laws. Van Der Sloot even asked for an initial payment worth of $25,000 for the ‘information’ he has given and the rest after the Body will be ‘confirmed’, amounting to $250,000.

Sloot’s Lawyer even said that he never said that Joran is not guilty of the murder of Holloway, but he was charged for extortion and bank fraud. Van der Sloot is in a Peruvian prison for murdering a 21-year-old girl in 2010, he was sentenced for 28 years for a drug scandal in prison. He will be transferred from another prison before transported to US early in June. Holloways mother said that the transfer is a step for justice to finally be served.
