Season 4 of Netflix’s Stranger Things introduced a new character who quickly won over viewers’ hearts. Fans quickly warmed up to Eddie, a senior high school student who becomes a suspect in one of Hawkins’ bizarre murder investigations. A lot of people were shocked and saddened by the death of Eddie, played by Joseph Quinn, before the end of the most recent season, just like they were by Barb (Shannon Purser), Bob (Sean Astin), and Alexei (Alec Utgoff).
It’s a completely overwhelming feeling,” Quinn tells ET’s Will Marfuggi when asked about the intense fandom and reactions to his character. This show has such devoted followers, and it’s heartwarming to see how they’ve made room in their hearts for a new character… Everything about it is just so warm and fuzzy.”

The 29-year-old British actor has previously appeared on HBO’s Game of Thrones and Catherine the Great. He now stars in the new Duffer Brothers series. The experience of joining Stranger Things, Quinn has previously described as “daunting,” even though he has worked on major television shows before. However, this was something he was “grateful” to have received.
The Massive Season that Was Shot and Produced During the Pandemic Is Reflected
In retrospect, Quinn says, “It’s gratifying to look back and see how much we accomplished.” “This year’s scope is massive. To top it all off, the ambitions are ludicrous. It had to be this massive, there was no other way to put it. Everybody put in so much effort on it, you know.
“But the fact that we put it out there and it’s been so well received and, obviously, personally, like, for the character that I played, for people to be so welcoming, it feels like a big exhale,” he says.
When He Was First Introduced, He Was the Head of The School’s D&d Club and A Heavy Metal Enthusiast.
When he was first introduced, Chrissy’s (Grace Van Dien) death was blamed on him because he was the leader of the school’s D&D club and a heavy metal fan. After realizing his innocence,
the gang helps protect Eddie from Jason (Mason Dye) and others before Eddie eventually teams up with Nancy, Steve, Robin, Dustin, and the rest of the Hawkins’ heroes as they take on Vecna.

Quinn Gushes Over Dustin’s Scene with Eddie’s Uncle, Calling It “beautiful.”
For him, it was “beautiful” how delicately his co-stars performed in that scene. As a result, many find it difficult to accept that his death was a heroic one, even though they know it. Eddie’s uncle knows that he wasn’t the villain he was depicted as, and it’s heartwarming that Eddie’s uncle is aware of this.
Quinn’s time on the show has come to an end, but he’s gained invaluable experiences and a new family in the process. It was “everything you’d expect,” he said of his new co-stars. “They’re really nice people.” When you go somewhere new with a group of strangers and leave with a group of close friends, it’s a great experience.
