Alexander “AJ” Jennings, an actor who portrayed Chase Stokes on “Outer Banks,” was killed in a hit-and-run accident involving two vehicles. He was 22.

A pedestrian, later identified as Jennings, was struck while crossing a road in North Charleston, South Carolina, at 2:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office. The automobile accelerated away from the incident.
