Post Malone calls being away from his daughter while on the road “really tough.” The ‘Circles’ singer announced his first pregnancy in June and has since become a father, a fact he describes as “heartbreaking” whenever he has to be apart from his daughter.
He told GQ, “It’s really tough not being able to see her, but she’s coming out more often now. She’s a huge, super-tall legend, and it makes me happy just to see her. But it’s a wrench to leave and miss out on so much time with her.
The 27-year-old star is introducing his music to the baby early on. Everyone in the house plays my music for her, so hopefully, some of the tunes will start to stick in her head,” he said. For some reason, children really seem to connect with my music, and I think that’s great, so I’m crossing my fingers that she’ll go with the flow on that.
Malone declared, “I take great pleasure in soothing her to sleep with music. My music is being used for lullabies. It’s pleasant to hear those. At other times, we’ll play it and I’ll have to guess the song because I’ve lost the tunes. Incredulous, I ask, “What song is this?”
The proud new dad joked that his little girl’s explosive bowel movements are how he can tell she’s his.
When asked about the most “crazy” aspect of parenting, he revealed, “The blowouts.” There are times when she has a major blowout and it comes straight out of her underwear. The feces will slowly trickle out, and I’ll be left wondering what the hell is going on. Because I know my way around a toilet, not because I have blowouts, and thus am certain that it is my daughter.
