Casting news for Netflix’s upcoming Korean drama Dak Gang Jeong has been released (literal title).

A Decision on Whether or Not to Cast Astro’s Cha Eun-Woo
Dak Gang Jeong is a comedy based on a webtoon with the same title, which refers to a popular Korean chicken dish. Kim will play Min Ah, a girl who is transformed into fried chicken when she mistakes a fatigue-relieving machine for it.
Choi Sun-man, played by Ryu, is a concerned father who will stop at nothing to help his daughter, and Go Baek-Joon, played by Ahn, is an intern with a secret infatuation with Min Ah.
Directing Dak Gang Jeong is Lee Byung-hun, who has already collaborated with numerous members of the cast, including Ryu (2019’s Extreme Job) and Ahn (2019’s Be Melodramatic). In the next weeks, we may anticipate the publication of additional information, such as the show’s development and debut schedule.
On the other hand, EXO’s Xiumin will be joining the likes of MONSTA X’s Hyungwon, Lee Shin-young, and others in the cast of the upcoming K-drama Sajangdol Mart (literal translation). Members of the Thunder Boys, a defunct K-pop boyband, will team up at Sajangdol Mart to save a failing grocery. Preliminary plans call for the launch of the K-drama to occur in the year 2023.
