Riverside, CA – Riverside County Deputy Timothy Corlew lost his life in an on-duty motorcycle accident on Wednesday, January 8. The tragic incident occurred while Deputy Corlew served the community through his assignment at the Jurupa Valley Station.
Funeral services for Deputy Corlew will be held on Thursday, January 23, at 10 a.m. at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church, located at 6115 Arlington Avenue in Riverside. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has announced plans for a law enforcement procession and interment following the service.
According to officials, RSO personnel who wish to join the funeral procession must meet at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary by 8 a.m. The procession to the church will begin at approximately 9 a.m. and is limited to family members and Sheriff’s Office personnel. Members of the public are encouraged to line the streets along the procession route to show their support.
Interment will follow the service at Olivewood Memorial Park, located at 3300 Central Avenue in Riverside. A final law enforcement procession from the church to the cemetery will include emergency vehicles from various agencies, alongside invited family members. The general public and media are asked not to join the procession directly but are encouraged to show their respects by observing from the streets.
Deputy Corlew’s death has brought grief to the Riverside County community. The Sheriff’s Office and local officials are inviting the public to honor his memory and sacrifice. His commitment to public safety will not be forgotten.
