Oak Brook, IL – A DuPage County judge ordered Tiffany Main, 32, of Arlington Heights, detained pretrial after an alleged police pursuit and vehicle crash tied to mail theft in Oak Brook. Her co-defendant, Patryk Zubrzcki, 41, faces charges including methamphetamine possession and identity theft but was released on non-detainable charges.

Authorities said officers responded early Thursday to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Timber Trails subdivision. Zubrzcki allegedly fled on foot after trying to evade police. Officers reportedly found methamphetamine and stolen mail in his possession.

Main allegedly took the wheel after Zubrzcki fled, driving over spike strips, continuing on deflated tires, and crashing into a median. She reportedly tried to flee on foot but was apprehended. Officers found mail stolen from Oak Brook, Arlington Heights, and nearby suburbs in the vehicle.

Both defendants are scheduled to appear in court on February 3. Authorities reminded the public that charges are allegations, and both are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
