Boulder City has had the program since 1967 as an attempt to decrease the financial burden on lower-income community members for the city, a Stimulus Checks 2024 for sales tax paid on food items. Residents will be able to apply for the program to get Stimulus Checks 2024 from Friday until June 30.
Residents eligible for the Stimulus Checks 2024 include those who have a disability, were 62 or older, or are a family with children under 18 for the entirety of 2023. Additional requirements for applicants for Stimulus Checks 2024 include confirmation the applicant lived in Boulder City for the year, along with specific financial capability requirements.
The financial capability requirements are based on the income last year of the applicant who will receive Stimulus Checks 2024, with the maximum amount allowed depending on the size of the family of the applicant. The maximum income for an individual is $46,500, while for a family of two, the maximum is $53,150, and for a family of four, it is $66,400. Eligible residents who receive the Stimulus Checks 2024 rebate will get $104, and the amount for families is $318. Both Stimulus Checks 2024 amounts are increases from the figures in 2023.
Last year, Boulder City officials approved 1,093 applications of the 1,241 sent for the tax rebate. Data shows 679 tax rebates going to older adults, 267 going to families, and 147 going to persons with disabilities.
