A Nashville Police Department official said that a bomb threat was made on Monday at the Covenant School, the location of a mass massacre in 2023.

“Covenant School staff member got a bomb threat via email yesterday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol’s (THP) bomb dog helped us clear the area. “Our Specialized Investigations Division investigators are collaborating with the FBI to look into the source of the threat,” a representative of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department stated.

Concerning the bomb threat, the school declined to comment and instead forwarded ABC News to law authorities.

Three kids and three staff members, which includes the head of the school, were murdered in a mass shooting that occurred at Nashville’s Covenant School in March 2023. Covenant School is a private Christian pre-kindergarten through sixth grade curriculum.

Police named the gunman as 28-year-old Audrey Hale, who they said had previously been a student at the school.

In March 2023, a spokesperson for the police informed ABC News that Hale was given the pronouns “he” or “him” at birth and referred to a social media account connected to Hale.

It was Tennessee’s bloodiest school shooting ever.

In a couple of minutes after the initial report of an active shooter, police shot and killed the alleged attacker.

According to Nashville Police Chief John Drake on Tuesday, Audrey Hale, who the police have confirmed as the shooter, lawfully purchased seven handguns, which includes the three utilized in the attack. The attacker was also receiving therapy for an emotional disturbance.

In Nashville’s Green Hills area, the shooting took place at the Covenant School, a private primary school situated on the premises of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
