Nikki Haley, the final contender challenging Donald Trump for the Republican nomination, is counting on the backing of a sizable portion of New Hampshire voters who are adamant about keeping the outgoing president out of the White House.
At a Franklin VFW hall, Haley declared, “America isn’t doing coronations,” with her daughter and son-in-law accompanying her. “Let’s demonstrate to the political and media elites that we have a different strategy in mind and let the nation see what we are capable of.”
The former governor of South Carolina and U.N. ambassador faces an uphill battle. Despite Trump’s defeat in the 2020 election and the 91st state of the union, the majority of conservatives wish to give him another opportunity to defeat President Joe Biden.
