Police reported that a security guard in Colorado who was charged with killing a lady who was discovered dead in a river had her chopped hand in his pocket as he was taken into custody.

Solomon Martinez, 26, is accused with first-degree murder in relation to a lady who was discovered dead in Fountain Creek on January 10, according to the Pueblo Police Department. The coroner for Pueblo County recognized the woman as 47-year-old Renee Marie Portillos.

As per an arrest affidavit acquired by The Pueblo Chieftain, Martinez was detained on January 11 at his place of employment, a local security company, following police notification on the woman’s body found in the stream and his suspected involvement.
