Police say a 14-year-old threatened to blow up a high school in New York

According to authorities, a 14-year-old is suspected for creating a bomb threat that led to the evacuation of a high school in Rockland County in September of the previous year.

The Ramapo Police Department reports that the 14-year-old has been taken into custody and charged in relation to a bomb threat that was made at Suffern High School on September 21, 2023.

According to officials, many law enforcement organizations were dispatched to the high school throughout the event.

Officials stated that following a four-month inquiry, the 14-year-old was taken into custody by police on Monday. Police have accused the teenager with making a terroristic threat and fabricating an incident report.
