A new survey indicates that, only a couple of days before the caucuses, Nikki Haley is pulling ahead of Ron DeSantis in Iowa.
However, a Suffolk University survey of 500 prospective Republican caucus attendees, conducted from January 6–10, indicates that the governors of Florida and South Carolina are behind Donald Trump. As per to the Suffolk poll, the former president has been the front-runner during the contest, with 54% of respondents saying he is their first choice.
According to the poll, 20% of voters indicated they were in favor of Haley, 13% claimed they would favor DeSantis, and 6% indicated they would favor businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
Based on the poll, Haley is leading Trump among independents who lean moderately or liberally, with 42% of the vote, to 31% for Trump.
