A Las Vegas Metro police officer committed suicide not long after being taken into custody on suspicion of harassment and burglary of a house. This was a heartbreaking occurrence. The coroner’s office announced this heartbreaking news on Tuesday.
On Sunday, December 31, Henderson police took Jake Freeman into custody. 3 major charges were brought against Freeman: criminal stalking, attempted house invasion, and destruction or damage to another person’s property.
Official documents state that Henderson police reacted quickly to a disturbance involving Freeman and another person. Freeman had messaged the individual several times, asking about their business.
Documents state that the person reported that Freeman was outside at the gate knocking to the police while hiding in a closet.
