During a sad occurrence at an apartment complex in Beech Grove, Indiana, a young woman is now being charged with murder. After the argument turned violent, a deadly shooting occurred, and 22-year-old D’Yauni Wilkins-Jones was taken into custody. Concerning the incident that happened on April 25, she faces 2 misdemeanor battery charges and 1 murder accusation.
At 9:14 p.m., the Beech Grove Police Department got a call reporting gunfire at an apartment complex. Several gunshots were reported by on-site eyewitnesses.
DeMarcus French, 27, was found lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his chest when the police came. French was admitted to a local hospital immediately, but tragically, a few hours later, he had been declared dead.
