The prosecution against Jonathan Majors for abusing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, has come to an end with his conviction on half of the counts against him.
The actor was found guilty on Monday of second-degree harassment and third-degree violence, which entailed intentionally causing bodily harm, by a jury in New York City. He was cleared of second-degree severe harassment and third-degree abuse to cause bodily harm, though.
The six-person jury deliberated for 2 days before making a verdict. Subsequently, the judge set a new date for the sentencing on February 6, 2024, and granted an order of security. Majors could receive a maximum sentence of 1 year in prison if found guilty.
