According to the latest weekly gas prices drop report by AAA, the cost of a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve gas in Butler experienced a five-cent drop, hitting $3.54 per gallon as of the most recent Monday.

The broader landscape of western Pennsylvania witnessed a significant decrease, with gas prices on average falling by seven cents to stabilize at $3.53. Amongst the various locales, New Castle stands out with the most economical average gas prices drop, resting at $3.33, while Kittanning reports the highest at $3.69.
Nationally, the average gas price nosedived by nine cents over the preceding week, landing at a commendable $3.15 per gallon. This impressive reduction amounts to a 22-cent decline compared to prices just a month ago and a 12-cent gas prices drop from the figures recorded a year earlier.
