The 24th-ranked Clemson Tigers team, now boasting a flawless 9-0 record, demonstrated resilience and skill against TCU. In a game where every point mattered, Ian Schieffelin played a pivotal role, notching 14 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. The Clemson Tigers, led by RJ Godfrey’s 10 rebounds, held a commanding lead, stretching it to 16 points during the contest. The Toronto-born Emanuel Miller made a commendable effort for TCU with 16 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Clemson Tigers’ dominance.
Despite a valiant effort from TCU, who started the season with seven consecutive wins, the Horned Frogs succumbed to their first defeat, finishing with a 7-1 record. Micah Peavy and Jameer Nelson Jr. contributed 12 and 10 points, respectively, but TCU faced challenges, enduring over seven minutes without a made field goal in the second half.

However, they made necessary adjustments, going 4 for 14 from long range in the second half to secure their triumph.
