A group of armed EMTs successfully restrained Kellie Boggs, a 44-year-old woman accused of assaulting a man with an ax and causing havoc at an emergency service station

The victim was discovered in a ditch behind the west base of the Carter County EMS station. Following the reported ax assault, Kellie Boggs reportedly proceeded to the EMTs’ station, where she shattered a glass door. Remarkably, a team of EMTs was inside the station, catching some sleep during the early morning hours. Swiftly responding to the unfolding chaos, the emergency workers, armed for unforeseen circumstances, took immediate action to subdue Kellie Boggs, maintaining control until law enforcement arrived at the scene.

Hailing from the nearby town of Grayson, Kellie Boggs now faces charges of assault and criminal mischief. Authorities have confined her to the Carter County Detention Center pending further legal proceedings.

The victim, suffering from serious injuries inflicted during the alleged assault, has been transported to a local hospital for medical attention
