Freedom Financial Network to Provide Direct Payments to Telemarketing Victims After Selling Products Using Pre-Recorded or Artificial Voices
The Freedom Financial Network will provide direct payments to telemarketing victims after selling products using pre-recorded or artificial voices in calls as part of the $9.75 million settlement action of the Freedom Financial Network following the lawsuit filed against them, along with the Freedom Debt Relief.
According to a report published in The US Sun, the Freedom Financial Network tried to sell their products and services to the telemarketing victims using pre-recorded and artificial voices, which violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, leading to the lawsuit faced by the Freedom Financial Network.
Aside from using pre-recorded and artificial voices, the Freedom Financial Network was accused of making calls to phone numbers included in the National Do Not Call Registry without the owners’ permission, making the case worse for the Freedom Financial Network.
Eligible Telemarketing Victims Encouraged to File Claim to Receive Settlement Payment from Freedom Financial Network
Following the Freedom Financial Network settlement, eligible telemarketing victims who have received pre-recorded and artificial voices in calls are encouraged to file claims to get a settlement payment, depending on how many valid claims will be filed.
Eligible telemarketing victims of the Freedom Financial Network who filed valid claims by November 25 will receive up to $170 direct payments as part of the settlement action, Top Class Actions reported.
