Notably, Marcus Smart had been one of only four Grizzlies to participate in all 11 games alongside Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and David Roddy.
This unfortunate development compounds Memphis’ injury woes, with star guard Ja Morant serving a suspension for the first 25 games and center Steven Adams sidelined due to knee surgery.
